Can I See a Sample First?

Yes, of course. And I want to say first: this is exactly the right thing to ask. A chandelier is a big piece, and it travels a long way to reach you. Wanting to hold the real material in your hands, before you decide, isn't only reasonable. It's wise. We're always glad when someone asks.

So here is how it works, simply and honestly.

The samples themselves are free. We'll send you a piece of the chain, and a piece of the alabaster, so you can feel the weight, see the finish, and hold the stone up to your own light, in your own room. The only thing we ask is a small fee of USD $20, which goes toward the air shipping, since these travel to you by international courier. To be completely honest with you, that $20 covers the shipping, and it isn't later deducted from your order. It's simply the cost of getting the samples to you quickly.

Once we send them, we'll pass along the tracking number, so you can follow them on their way. They usually arrive within 3 to 5 business days after dispatch.

Alabaster is a natural stone. That means no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Every piece has its own veining, its own soft variations in color, its own way of catching the light. When you hold the sample up, you're not just checking a material. You're meeting the character of the stone. Your finished piece will share that same quality and feel, though, being natural, its veining will be its own. That isn't a flaw. It's the quiet beauty of a material that the earth made, not a machine.

This is really why we're happy to send samples at all. We would never want you to choose something this important from a screen alone. We'd rather you saw it, and touched it, and felt it settle into your space, and then decided for yourself, without any pressure from us.
